Photo organizer for iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad
Your library,
in a good light.
Zeglow organizes the photos already in Apple Photos, right where they are. It suggests what to tidy, tells you why, and leaves every decision to you.
- Photos stay on your device
- No account
- Nothing deleted without you

01Library
Revisit your life, not your camera roll.
Your photos gather into the moments they belong to: the day, the place, the weeks in between. Turn to the Calendar and every day with photos shows its print, and a whole year reads at a glance. Open a day to walk through it, find a trip on the map, or search by a date, a place, an album or a keyword.

02Organize
Teach it in one sentence.
A rule reads like what you mean, and the photos it matches gather as you write it. Favorites, rated and hidden photos, your albums, your Shared Library and the last seven days are kept safe by built-in Keep rules, and Keep always wins.

How rules work
Say what to tidy
A rule is one short sentence, like “Screenshots older than 3 months.”
Zeglow finds the matches
Favorites, your albums and recent photos are always kept safe. Every suggestion can say why.
You decide, one by one
Keep it or set it aside. When a rule can’t tell, it says so instead of guessing.
03Review
You decide. Always.
Go through suggestions one at a time, or a page of screenshots at once. Similar shots and bursts open side by side in Compare: tap the ones to keep. What you set aside waits in the Tray.
Nothing is deleted until you open the Tray and confirm. Then Photos asks too, and keeps them in Recently Deleted.

04Widgets
Your Home Screen, keeping time with the light.
The Window shows a photo taken at this hour, around this time of year, and changes at seven, noon, five and nine. On This Day and the Photo Calendar bring back the past quietly.
Only photos you took are chosen: never screenshots, documents, receipts or pictures saved from elsewhere.
05iPhone · iPhone Duo · iPad
One app, made for each form.
Larger screens show more, not bigger. On iPad and on the open iPhone Duo, the timeline and the Calendar sit together like facing pages, instead of the phone stretched.

iPhone
A companion in the hand: every decision within reach of your thumb.
iPhone Duo
Closed, a column of choices under your right thumb. Open, a book: the timeline on one page, the Calendar on the other.
iPad
A workspace for curating: a sidebar, the stage and an inspector, with the keyboard close at hand.
06Privacy
Private by default.
Zeglow keeps its notes in a private database on your device and never copies your library. There’s no server to send anything to.
- On your device
- Your photos are analyzed on the device. This version sends no photo, description or result to anyone.
- No account
- No sign-in, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party analytics or telemetry.
- In place
- Zeglow works on your Apple Photos library where it is. It never copies the library or exports your photos.
- Only with you
- Nothing in Photos changes until you confirm. Keywords are only ever added; photos are deleted only after you confirm and Photos asks you too.
07Questions
A little more about Zeglow.
Something not covered here? Support has more answers.
What is Zeglow?
An open-source photo organizer for iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad. It works on your Apple Photos library in place: it gathers your photos into moments, a calendar and a map, suggests what to tidy, says why, and leaves every decision to you.
Does Zeglow upload or copy my photos?
No. This version looks at your photos only on your device. There’s no account, no server, no analytics and no tracking, and Zeglow never copies your library.
Will Zeglow delete anything on its own?
No. Photos you set aside wait in the Tray, and nothing is deleted until you open the Tray and confirm. Photos then asks you as well and moves them to Recently Deleted, where you can still recover them.
Why was a photo suggested?
Every suggestion can say why. In a review, tap Why to see the rule and which of its conditions the photo met. When a rule can’t tell, the photo waits and Zeglow says so instead of guessing.
What do I need?
An iPhone or iPad with iOS 27 or later; the iPhone Duo’s facing pages need iOS 27.1. Zeglow works with your Apple Photos library, including iCloud Photos.
When can I get it?
Zeglow isn’t on the App Store yet. When it is, this page will link to it.
Open source, start to finish.
Zeglow is developed in the open under the Apache License 2.0, from its design documents to every line of the app.
